Sparklehorse is musical Xanax defined, but they throw some rockers in, too. I got some pretty good versions of their songs, some live performances and what not. Mark Linkous is a musical Wunderkind! Lots of the heavy stuff. In the morning it's been Mortiis and X-Mal Deutschland in the shower. Then heathly shots of Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death and the Plasmatics on the way to and from work. When the "phones" are on at work it jumps from more Plasmatics to Manson to Hocico to the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack box set. Throw a little Black from the Dead (BiLe and ThRilL KiLl kUlT), HIM, and UNIT:psychosis.......

The MIND is a trerrrrrrrrrrrrrible thing.

I don't have it. But we saw the Cramps live and they played about 6 or 7 songs from it. We stood by the sound board, so I got to see the set list in advance. Sounded really good live. It will be one to get when there's extra $$$$$ laying around.

The HIM stuff I have on video seems to do quite well with presenting their live show. HIM and the 69 Eyes aroud two bands I really REALLY want to see live.

Alot heavier and grittier.

Doggie ... I shit you not .. the new Jane's is so much fun for the ear drums! I've been giving it a listen to for a few weeks now (downloaded it) and really like it. If you are a fan of P4P (as I believe I read you are) .. you will notice several familiar riffs which work well in the new songs. There's a heavier dose of ROCK on this album than I thought there would be. It's good to have the boys back together and cranking out some good sounding shit! And to whomever it was that was listening to my beloved Heathen .. that cd is just to breath taking for words for me. I've always had such an affection for Bowie and this cd kicked my ass out of the chair and onto the floor. Saw him perform at Area 2 last year and can not even explain to you the effect that this phenom had on me. Stood there with goosebumps and crazed with sexual energy all at the same time. Ahhhhh ... Bowie! He was quoted in this months (I believe) Blender magazine describing his new cd as "thrusty". Like I told EFO ... that's all I needed to hear. :idea::idea: He makes me think funny thought! What am I listening to .... Duran Duran. Hmmm .. I wonder why! ;)
