Your first bad motor scooter concert...

After seeing the Montrose thread... thought I'd ask if anybody else remembers their first concert.... Mine was a LONG time ago. It was a Day on the Green - Monsters of Rock in '78 with Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, AC/DC (with Bon!), Mahogany Rush & St. Paradise. Last show I saw was The Doors, next in line is the Doors:flip: and then Neil Young and Crazy Horse :flip: Iana, you lucky girl seeing all those good ol' bands!

First...and always

The Clash

London Calling 1979 UK...

never before has so much been owed...

From Velvet night came forth our torch burns eternal,
For time is but a dream and our mischeif be infernal,
Black Angels watch over neglecting the living but not the undead,
Blessed are the hallowed and gracious for their blood shall keep us fed,
Hark the electric thunder drawn like moths to a flame,
To a place of wicked wonder...and Hollywood be thy name.

Ahh Iana, that is why I did not reply on the original thread.......I read your list and thought "ohh god I remember those" (adding Rick Wakeman's "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth") :P

Ohh well time to put the "blue rinse" through my hair, and pick up my "zimmer frame walker" :D

maybe i don't remember the "early" 70's for live shows...hey i was just a kid...snotty nosed...needing a new parker...but the bands are still there in my past as much as everyones...i just waited until something of substance that i could hang on to came along...and blew my mind!

were as...i'll be off to see Alice Cooper (again) next month...one of the first entertainers who i was introduced to in 73/4

blue rinse...NAH...gimmie my Plum or Purple hair dye...and my motorised wheel chair!!

Yeah, those pesky greys used to be one a week and now I get like one a day.
I'll be getting that blue rinse right quick.
Cut them short or yank them out?:puzzled: At this rate I'll have either
a buzz cut or be bald in no time. Ah well, the Hubster will love me anyway!:D
