Monster Magnet
Anyone here who knows Monster Magnet? What do ya think about them?
Monster Magnet was my favourite band for a year because I didn't know The Cult at the time. Now they are my second favourite band.

MONSTER MAGNET
Johnny,
You sure do have great taste in music. I never heard of MM before seeing them a few times with the CULT. I thought they were very good...intense.
Dave (Whendorf) was extremely entertaining....
we were standing there watching the show, then all of the sudden he lights this guitar on fire...with flames reaching the ceiling it seemed. I
thought it was quite spectacular...I was able to get some pictures but they didn't come out that great.
After the show we went outside...and lo and behold who was sitting there holding up the bench? You guessed it! A very drunken Dave. He was very
funny. I told him I thought the show was great and said, "You should have seen those security guards scatter like roaches when you brought out that
flaming guitar!" He said, "I would have lit the whole fucking place on fire if I could have!" Scary...but entertaining.
I would definitely see them again. I even went out and bought God Says No...a big stretch for me, because I am so stuck in the 80's musically....

Yeah, the magnets are fantastic guys, but their guitarists Ed and Phil could learn much from the Duffmeister!

yaaaaay!! i find some other warm bodies that like them too! oh god Dave's voice is so incredible - hes such a great guy. the other guys in the band
are fuken cool as hell too. their music makes me so........happy. yeah happy. the latest album kicks so much ass!
