Portugese Polkas
I went to a wedding this past Sat. night,the bride was from Portugal and the groom,Italian American,I never had so much fun at a wedding before, a
good part of the music was Portugese,alot of what seemed like polka's,these people knew how to have a good time,I really enjoyed myself,I usually find
weddings to be the usual blah,blah,blah but this one ,I hardly sat down and ofcourse I had to dance with people other then my husband, bikerboy
Fred,God forbid he should be seen dancing or having a good time! :P

like you had a good time though, i don't like to dance but i would have attempted to do the polka. Especially after having a few drinks If they ever say, White Girls Can't Dance that descibes me perfectly, went out with
some friends a while ago they encouraged me to dance, so i did, the guy i had been chatting with picked up the bar stool he was sitting on got up and
was gone, poor man, i scared the brother:D
Anyways, i'm usually the girl at the bar drinking alot of alcohol when i go to a dance club

I'm glad that you have fun with the portuguese wedding. We are an happy and funny people. When you decide to come to Portugal i'll love to show you
some traditional music and take you to some traditional places. I loveeeeeeeeeeee my country. I am very proud of the portuguese culture.
Did you tryed portuguese food in the wedding? I hope so. It's soooooooo tasty.... yam...yam...

Too funny ladies,Romi,i'm afraid to fly right now but I would love to go to your part of the world and see those beautiful countries you gals come
from.
It was alot of couples dancing in circles,in a bigger circle around the room,to me it looked like polkas,I did have the best time dancing with the traditional Portugese music and some beautiful love songs,I had no clue what
they we're singing about but it brought us all to tears anyway,especially when the bride danced with her father. All hell broke loose when my request
for "funky town" came on and "full circle" I was a total dancin fool and I only had 1 Pina Colada because I was the designated driver as usual This wedding cost $70.000.00 and it showed every penny of it.(yes my husband asked the
groom) when I hit the lottery I will have a similar party and your all invited.....Romi, I will not forget your invitation, nor will you forget

They had Portugese food at the cocktail hour,I had eggplant,chicken,a portugese dish that i'm not sure what it was but it tasted great,lobster tails
and all the shrimp you could eat,dinner was filet mignon for me,the fish they had for dinner was a Portugese dish,excellent food.

Jay... i'm a vegetarian.... so i'll just have the caipirinhas, i prefer caipiroscas but i must have cachaça instead of vodka in Brasil....:P
