Unfortuantely talent seems to be #7 on a scale of 1 - 10 on the list of How To Be a Rock Star..
There are a bajillion talented people out there who will never be heard by the masses.

bearing yer soul aint easy, take it from a seasoned vet of the "scene". having played the same stages as some of the biggies(soundgarden, black crows,
etc.) i can say theres nothing like having your high E string break on the first song of the set AND the bass players low E break on the same song,
yeah now there is a true oh shit moment! damn im glad for beer!
when kids ask me how does santa clause live forever, i tell them "it's because he drinks blood".
if life deals you lemons, why not go kill someone with the lemons(maybe by shoving them down his throat).
it's too bad that whole families have to be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs.

what rockers need...
aside from talent, they need LOTS of courage. i cant imagine how these guys get over their stage freight.
its like they're completely oblivious to everyone in the room.
as IAN said once, its ok....fuckin get on with it. No one cares....
i guess thats the attitude. Like really believe other peoples opinion does not matter.
i CAN not hear any kinds of musical tunes in my head at all!! i could never play a single note of music for sure.
it seems like the best career.
ofcourse our guys make it look SO DMAN easy.
