i could not believe it was happening. i was so ecstatic. he is such a powerful presence. it was an amazing meeting. when he was walking away i
whispered to myself...MUST you go?
that meeting was like 16 years in the making. i only met him once before very long ago-and i was too tongue tied then to say anything-i always felt so
dumb about that and hated myself for it. this time it went so well.
i had brought him his gifts and he truly loved everything i gave him. that was really cool.

i got him a mystical poetry book and mystical music and a buddhist ceremonial piece. he loved it!
that made me really happy.

Like I said, you are talented, and trust me, I'm not one to "bash" anyone or judge poetry...I have no right, I post my own stuff here, so why would I
do that someone else? I simply commented that yours was...well, a bit personal and heavy...anyway it's hard to explain.
I have plenty of fire in my belly for Ian...I just know he was never comfortable being looked upon as a sex symbol and I prefer to keep my admiration
more private and spiritual. I admire everything about him, and the fact that he's a fine specimen doesn't hurt matters. :D
Anyway sorry if you got offended, like someone else said, it's just a message board, and you know how we all like to monkey around. (No pun intended)

yes-i think the guy is fine-no doubt--but that is NOT what makes me act ridiculous towards him.
when i met him, he could tell.....that i was not into him sexually. i was elated to finally meet the SPIRIT that exists within that body!!!! his
SPIRIT is UNIQUE. the PURE POWER, inspiration and anarchistic volatility behind those eyes-that talent, that pure beautiful talent- THAT is what truly
gets me going on him. that is why i write the poetry i do. physical beauty can only carry you so far. the REAL beauty in life is FAR beyond looks and
appearances-i agree with that 200%
so its not not because i want to screw the guy that i express my ecastatic devotion to him AT ALL!!-it is like a spiritual love of a soul ---
there are SO many other gorgeous musicians out there but no one effects me the way he does. it has something to do with what he stands for-how he
chooses to reflect himself in his art.
really, i am the LEAST sexual person out there--so DEFINITELY i know what you are talking about. and i agree--
it would be totally disrespectful to IAN to talk like that!
