Ok, call me gullible. Found out that web page is a complete joke. I totally fell for it though, as did a lot of other people who didn't think it was
much of a stretch considering Metallica's recent legal history.
The Axl Rose story, however, is a "joke" that's entirely true.

CNN.com & some other news outlets reported the story. The guy who made the web page meant it as satire, and had no idea it would spread like wildfire.
