I picked HIM.
Although I like most of the band's in your list.
But after The Cult my favourites are Metallica,U2,Led Zeppelin,AC/DC and a load of others.
Fuck it all and fucking no regrets I hit the lights on these dark sets.

Very much in the old school of Metallica.
St.Anger is a very dark and meaningful album.
Some of Hetfield's darkest lyrics to date.

what about faith no more? i love the cult BUT f.n.m is by far the most versitile band that has been around for maybe ever, admit it they rock, they
funk they croon they swoon, they can(or could that is) do it all.
f.n.m gets my vote!!

if life deals you lemons, why not go kill someone with the lemons(maybe by shoving them down his throat).

G, saw Faith No more with Metallica and GNR in '92, Mike Patton is F**KING amazing Did you ever hear him when he did the Mr Bungle thing, voice as smooth as silk
SP3, is Bruce Dickinson singing for Maiden along with Dio and Motorhead? But definitely would go if they come to this neck of the woods No, i haven't picked up TON Life Is Killing Me yet.
I saw Maiden while i was 8 months pregnant (and AC/DC when i was 5 months) no wonder my daughter doesn't hear so well
