i have been looking at some early bootleg of theirs where they are doing songs like zap city and spiritwalker and love, revolution.....oh my god. the
songs from love are so hard-phoenix live sounds SO good. i would give anything to have been able to see them in those days. shit!

I think the best concerts were in 1987, electric time! they played manymany songs from Love and from Electric!

Real Astbury- I totally agree with you, Love and Death Cult bootlegs are the best. The songs have such a unique style, and are very different live.
There are some good early versions of ResurrectionJoe with different lyrics, and With Love is played as Waste of Love.

totally different....
the things is that LIVE, Love, sounds SO MUCH HARDER than the production on the actual cd--without all those silly sound effects which i really dont
mind-but when you hear that stuff stripped-its really TRUE CULT......pure rock-such sublime heaven.
