First Cult item you bought
In the summer of '87:
Love Removal Machine (extended version)/ Love Removal Machine / Wolf Child's Blues
I went to a Mission gig in England once and was scared stiff. I was frightened of meeting all our old fans. -Billy Duffy

First Cult item?...
Spiritwalker 12" single first day of issue...
first item bought would have been Fatman/Moya 7" in fold out poster sleeve...
just a thought...first ITEM with Cult on it was a ticket for the CULT in January 1984...before they released Spiritwalker...
go on then...do it..."get your rocks off!"...sorry...listening to Primal Scream
:flame:ON!!!

Blessed are the hallowed and gracious for their blood shall keep us fed
Hark the electric thunder drawn like moths to a flame

nice topic
hmmm.
its gotta be Love on cassette in '87. Went to London that summer. thought if i walked around on Carnaby st. i would walk into the cult members!!
that's what a dummy i was.
there was a great flea market in in london, i went there and found all these postcards of the cult. then another one in amsterdam where i bought the
cult electric tour t shirt. i used to love that shirt and really wore it down.
sigh-what a special time that was.

First Cult album bought: The Electric Cassette
Bought some really cool Cult shirts and posters in Niagara Falls ...on The Canadian Side back in 1986 at a really great specialty record store (don't
remember its name). Also picked up some stuff in Toronto back in '87.
I said "Elemental" and just then, it started to rain.

hmmmm,
I think I bought Sonic Temple,Love and Dreamtime all at once.
All on cd.
Sonic Temple hadn't been out long,my sister's Ex had lent me a tape with Sonic and Electric on it and that got me hooked.
I bought Electric the week after along with Edie and Sweet Soul Sister on cd single then I found all the early stuff in X-Records in Bolton and bought
everything on 7" and 12".
Only to sell them all a year or so later when I was skint and on the dole
But now I have everything on cd :D
Fuck it all and fucking no regrets I hit the lights on these dark sets.

Bought Electric on vinyl after hearing Love removal machine, the rest is history. Then I bought every cult item going, down to posters, t-shirts, pin
badges, every 12 inch, baseball hat. Used to go round Ken Market or carnaby St which always had some strange cult memrobilia. Even had a belt with
"volume" made on it just like billy wore sometimes
