Yes Iana, it has hit Toronto. Someone came back from a trip from Hong Kong and as a result two hospitals in the Toronto area have been shut
down/quarentined. There have been 4 deaths in Toronto, plus dozens of cases. I think a couple cases have been reported in BC as well. Scary...

Yes it is. And with a vengence.
That'll teach us not to treat every sniffle with an antibiotic and maybe crack down on the folks pumping medicines into the cows and chickens.
Mutated killer germs have their revenge.
It hit Toronto pretty hard too. Read some stuff about hospitals in quarantine.
Pandemic. Oh yeah, let's all sneeze together.

A guy here has managed to recover from it, so they're studying him for antibodies etc.

You must avoid flying to Hong Kong. This thing is not for joking. This is very dangerous and you must AVOID contact with people that maybe have the
virus.

My brother is in China right now on business and is due to fly out on Sunday. Talked to him yest. and he said he feels fine, no symptoms as of yet
and he's been there for three wks. His boss told him yesterday that he will have 10 days off when he gets back paid so he can quarantine himself. He
frequents the board(s) and is as much of a Cult freak as the rest of us. Join me in hoping/praying for his safe and healthy return.
woke up this morning, my head felt like a warzone cause I drank a river last nite on route #66 to Zap City..................

edcult..
I'll hope for everything to be safe and healthy for your brother..
One of the middle schools here has 48 students at home..they just got back from a Japan exchange.
This 'bug' is spreading like crazy. Way worse than the mosquito scare last year. At least you could swat the pesky bloodsuckers away.

Thanks Debi, Gina. I'm sure everything will be alright. He's got PLENTY of Cult discs in reserve for the flight home to keep his mind off things.
