Ian's voice is like home

Just a comment. I haven't listened to any Cult in a while, don't really know why. As I sip on the days first beer and watch the live dvd I am calmed. Other bands are good but when I hear Ian sing it is home and I feel peace- Even with all the sad shit going on in the world.
What a gift he has to give.

Yes indeed Dollybird what a voice he has. We are in conflict globally against a madman and I hope we can end this quickly and with as little loss of life as possible. Drink a beer for me too Dollybird

talk about soothing!

:flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip::flip:

that's how i feel when i hear his voice.
i couldn't agree with you more. i was very sick and had to go to the hospital. the first thing i did when i got back home is but on the cult. and ians voice just brought me home. god, it was one of those moments.....
everytime i need to calm myself and forget my troubles, i just put on the cult and it lifts all my troubles away. especially ians solo S/L/S. that album is like heaven.
it feels like a i am floating on a cloud when i put on tht album....
sigh!!

Yes, Real Astbury Girl, Spirit Light Speed is a gem! I only hope we get more solo stuff from him in the future. (I'm sure we will, the question is how soon.)

Whats the deal here?

everytime there's a post about a specific member of the Cult...you girls seem to go all mushy and week at the knees ;)

for some of you it's Billy...

for others it's Ian...

why can't you just get out of your clothes...grab a beer...chill out...and listen to the CULT...get into the music and the lyrics together...let the mood and your fingers take you to a different dimension :o

From Velvet night came forth our torch burns eternal,
For time is but a dream and our mischeif be infernal,
Black Angels watch over neglecting the living but not the undead,
Blessed are the hallowed and gracious for their blood shall keep us fed,
Hark the electric thunder drawn like moths to a flame,
To a place of wicked wonder...and Hollywood be thy name.

Why'd you have to go and say that? *smirk* I'm trying to keep my thoughts...pure...
I agree, The Cult songs have a way of clearing the mind and taking you home. Comforting if you feel sad, sexy if you feel randi, spiritual if you feel like you're needing and just the right amount of pist offness if your cranky.

Love album is too melancholy and emotional for me. Black Angel makes me so bristly, I cannot listen that song.
Does anybody else feel the same way?

I prefer electric.
Ian is the best singer on this world,

love
