I'm actually thinking of going! I'm only about 350 miles from Toronto and I love the city, been there 3 or 4 times. I can probably get a good deal on a travel package (I'd like to go by train.). However, I have to admit I'm weighing the risk of this sort of event...A huge mass of microbe and virus spewing humanity in a confined area. The SARS outbreak started in a Hotel in Toronto, too. I'll have to be sure I don't stay there! Although the room rates must be hard to beat at groundzero! I can see it now, my luck, I'll be carrier alpha prime- case #1 and bring it back to the U.S. and start a new pandemic outbreak. Anybody think this is an unwise vacation idea? It's an ideal time to get a great, and very economical 3 day vacation...can't beat the exchange rate and they're begging for tourists after the crippling Travel warnings. Is there real reason to be worried or is the danger of Toronto overamplified and overstated? Must I wear one of those Michael Jackson masks (seriously)?
