Can anyone tell me about them? I know Billy was in the group as well as Kirk from Spear of Destiny, but does anyone like their stuff? Which albums are Billy on? Do you like it? I came across a Live album from 1981 (Line in Berlin) and only gave it a quick spin but so far, I don't like it.
Is Billy on this one? I don't see his name anywhere on the jacket.

lil history lesson for ya...

Billy Duffy played Guitar on ONE single...a double AA side single called Conquistador/the Hop

Billy did however appear on the UK show Top Of The Pops with ToH miming to the previous single called (do you believe in the) Westworld...and Billy toured the UK as the guitarist in ToH when a lil known band called Southern Death Cult suported them...

after the tour Billy was booted out of ToH and made his living on a market stall until Ian Linsday came along and said...hey Billy...lets do it...lets become rich and famous and start a band...i have a good name as well...Death Cult...

personally i think that the ToH album u have (Live In Berlin) is shit anyways...if i were you i'd just go and buy the Goth comps that come out every now and again with ToH's better known songs like Judgement Hymn and the afore mentioned Westworld...

Spear Of Destiny was generally the same format as ToH but on a major label...so the original format became toned down or diluted...more acessable to the masses...eventually the bands downfall...

ask specific questions about stuff from the 80's UK music scene and i'll see what shit i can remember...most of it's lost in the dark corners...

You are right. The album is total shit.
I tried to listen to it as I cleaned the kitchen and had to run and turn it off after 3 songs. It hurts! Good thing it was cheap!
I remembered Billy was with them at one
time and THOUGHT it might be good.
Wrong! I've only listened to side A.
Do you remember a band called Snakecorps? I remember I loved one of their records. I wonder what happened to them...

Didn't Billy play quitar on one TOH concert on cd ? I have a live cd that i've wondered if he played on. It's 'He Who Dares Wins' One and Two.

rumour has it debby that it is indeed Billy playing on that CD...or at least some of it...if memory serves me right there is some live T o H material from Berlin which is suposed to have Billy playing live...hardest thing is to get the acurate date of the show recorded...as we know...some offical releases come from many different sources...as do boots...
