Talking about women rockers, let's not forget some of the originals like:

Patty Smith, Pat Benetar, Chrissy Hynde, Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin all great female performers who alot of influence with todays performers but the grunge movement back in the '90's

Courtney Love(HOLE), Kat Bjelland(Babes In Toyland), Jennifer Finch(L7) formed an early rendition Riot Grrl band Sugar Babylon.
Joan Baez had that folksy blues music with today's artist like Jewel, Sarah Maclaughlin

I like Gwen Stefani and thinks she has talent, as well as Shirley Manson from Garbage

Oh, I'm not forgetting the true musicians in the group, but I'm not sure Patty Smith was very sexy, at least not to me. But then again I never said any of the ones I picked were really talented, they're just physically hot. Except for Blondie, who I think is talented. Being a female rocker myself, I agree with you Wizard. It's just a shame that most of the girls on VH1's list were people like Shakira (ugh, can't stand her voice) and Britney and Jewel, annoying to no end. Chrissy Hynde had the best of both worlds. Sexy as hell and a wonderfully talented musician. Annie Lennox is in a category all by herself. Love her! I was just talking physical, cause if we were talking about talent the list would be endless.

okay, I've been quiet for a little while now, so I'll put my vote for the girls in here:

Madonna? are you serious? Ugly, fugly, pug ugly, pug fugly, but definately NOT sexy :flame: and she's been putting out the same crappy dance records for 20 years now

Gwen Stefani was cute for about five minutes but you get over her quickly ... and she looked really stupid when she dyed her hair pink

Shirley Mason ... (hesitantly) ahhh yeeeaahhhhhh ... I can ... kind of ... go along with her, in an exotic/Euro kind of way, but somebody needs to tell her there is a very fine line between "exotic looking" and "freaky looking" ...

Jewel looks good, but her yodelling just doesn't do it for me ... her rack does though :D

apparently it's spelled "McLachlan", according to her website. And her website also says "Delerium Chimera 6/24/03" ... a new record?
