New HIM's album

New HIM's album will be avaiable since Monday. I have it already and I must say it's good. Love especially 'The Sacrament' with a beautiful piano intro (I love Burton the most). But listening to it whole night with a friend we realised that it sounds as if it was an album for 'goodbye'. We hope it isn't! But - Linde has a daughter now and probably wants to take care about her, Ville wants to study, Burton is involved in policy - who knows? I'll be in HELLsinki in two weeks and will talk to guys.

you have the cd before its on sale & r going to hel(l)sinki to talk to them. r u a journalist or sth else in that business???

just watched mtv masters with him, they already showed parts of the new video for buried alive by love, which they did in la (wonder if they know or ever met someone from the cult, hey ask them if they know or like the cult :angel:) with that mtv jackass guy...
love the new songs (well those i could share from winmx), hope they tour again & that it's NOT A GOODBYE album!

Partly you're right, I study journalism and when someone interesting comes to Poland I always meet and interview them.

HIM is a bit different story - I love Finnish music and I know many people from Finnish music business and know some musicians. Visit Finland as often as possible. This time just three days...
I have 'Love Metal' because my friend made a meeting of HIM's fans and she managed to get a permission for selling album earlier.

Not just fans ........... HUGE fans in the USA that are BEGGING them to come here. There are no bands that are from the USA that even come close to their sound, etc. They are one of my favorite bands and I have all of their albums.

If you can get a message to Jyrki, please tell him that he has fans in the USA that love his music and he would honor us by coming here so we can experinece The 69 Eyes live.

I actually like the new single by HIM.....

Can't say I had heard anything by them before,but the new single is pretty good.
Tried to buy the album yesterday but nowhere seemed to have it.
Is it out in the UK?
It got 4 out of 5 in Kerrang! last week,so I guess it's worth checking out.
Ahh well,
back to the Faith No More bootlegs

I found the new HIM album today finally.
I went to Preston to buy a new ride cymbal and I ventured into HMV and it was there for £13.99 it's says it's Limited Edition on the sticker and has the video for Buried Alive By Love on there as well as an extra track.
And I just found a cd on the cover of an old Kerrang(about 3-4 weeks old) which has a song on it by them that isn't on the cd called 'The Heart Of Darkness'...is this from the same sessions?

I love "The Sacrament" and "Buried Alive By Love". "Beyond Redemption" is good along with the bonus track "Love's Requiem" Much improved over the last disk.

but this entire album fucking rocks!
I love every song on it!

It was damn hard to top greatest love songs vol 666 and razorblade romance - RESPECT for those finnish guys!

Back from HELLsinki! I interviewed Burton, I'll post the interview here soon - now I have to recover after over a week-long party. Saw a couple of their gigs as they were playing 6 concerts day by day in Helsinki. I also talked to Mige, Seppo (menager) and a bit to Ville. They will come to USA next year. Played in London last Friday or Saturday.

Glad to hear you were turned on to HIM. They truly are a phenominal band. And if you think their cover of Rebel Yell kick ass, their cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" will really blow your mind. They do have 4 full length albums out. Really worth getting. Hell, I love this band so much, I got their Heartagram tattooed on my back! :D

STAR - i never really liked 'wicked Game' until i heard their cover of it and :o FUCK its good! i think his voice is just...........amazing is the only word i can find. i copied like 12 Cd single cds and i think an album or two (Deep Shadows for sure), and now i want all their albums.................holy shit i did this when i discovered The Cult - oh hell!! not again.................8)
