ICEHOCKEY: Denmark beat USA at the WC in Finland

I know U guys doesn't bother for much other than the NHL, but WAAUUU.......this is our first match EVER in WC-history in the A-class. 5-2 victory over USA!!! Denmark are in ecstacy right now......it's a stunning result!!!!

Who would have thought...!!!???

Oops! Looks like you guys got a little too excited about beating the worst team in the competition and forgot about Russia.

Let's face it, the US never sends its best players to the WHC (the NHL playoffs are still in full swing) and this year is no different. No Roenick, no Modano, no Tkachuck, etc, etc. Basically a bunch of very average players up against superior talent. Finland has Koivu and Selanne, Sweden has Forsberg and Sundin, Canada has Burke and Heatley, while the US has, um, er, Ted Drury of the Hamburg Freezers and Damian Rhodes of the Greenville Grrrowl. :puzzled:

Question: Who's idea was it to let Japan play ice hockey? They just plain suck.

Stop bitchin' 'bout UR loss just because U can't send UR best players!!! If U wanna be the best in the world U gotta send the best players to the WC-finals!!! PERIOD!!!

Denmark is a small country with only 5 mill. citizens....USA has 330 mill. people living there. U should be able to send at least 10 different teams to the WC, ALL OF THEM WAY BETTER THAN THE DK-TEAM!!!

Come on, give us a break instead and face reality...U WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Enjoy the B-class next time!!! HEH HEH HEH....

BTW, DK were only outclassed by the russians in the 2nd period (1-5)...1st & 3rd were pretty even.....EXCELLENT PLAY BY DK, WE ARE PROUD!!!
